The Role

This role is a flexible position for AIGA Austin members interested in supporting the Board of Directors with specific project ideas. The Board can be available to help plan and execute these projects. The Special Projects Chair will provide budget info, committee needs, and plans to the Board for approval. This position is designed as a stepping stone to other leadership positions. There may be more than one Special Projects Chair elected to the Board. Periodically, the Executive Board may pivot their responsibilities to other projects as needed.

Requirements

• Show strong organization and management skills.
• Be an active AIGA Member.
• Fulfill a 1 year term.
• Propose and execute a succession plan.
