AIGA Austin Presents: Speed Mentorship
AIGA's Speed Mentorship, a dynamic event where creatives connect with a diverse group of successful leaders—from in-house leaders to boutique studio owners, non-profit visionaries, and solopreneurs—each offering unique perspectives and expertise.
The first of a series of mentorship-focused events, the Speed Mentorship will share insights on what professional mentorship is, and what it isn't. Through discussion with a diverse panel, leaders will share how mentorship shaped their careers, helped them navigate pivotal decisions, and guided them toward success. Directly following the panel discussion will be break out sessions where curious mentees and interested mentors will meet one another to see if there's a match.
While we can’t guarantee that everyone will walk away with a mentor or mentee, the goal is to encourage reflection on whether mentorship is the right path and what it could look like for them.
All attendees will gain meaningful insight, guidance, and inspiration around mentorship. As well as it's benefits for both the mentor and mentee and setting and achieving goals.

NOTE: This event marks the first in a mentorship series—an introduction to mentorship for potential mentees and mentors. Our speakers will share insights on what mentorship is (and isn’t) and what it takes to build a successful mentorship. Afterward, we’ll break into small groups, giving attendees a chance to connect and see if there’s a spark or mutual interest in establishing a mentorship with someone who has pursued a similar career path.
