As the decade ends, it’s time to reflect not only on your goals for 2020, but for the decade beyond. Don’t be intimidated, it’s not as daunting an exercise as you’d think. Whether you are an early career or a seasoned professional, it comes down to asking yourself the right questions. Ones that spur goal setting to not only maximize achievement and success, but to create deeper meaning. The goal-setting questions must go beyond the usual, like “Are my goals time bound and specific?”
In this workshop we will use a light design thinking framework*, mentoring network, and a lot of peer-to-peer sharing to help set yourself up for a clearer career focus for 2020 and beyond.
*Recommendation: The workshop will not go in to depth about design thinking so we recommend taking the FREE IBM Enterprise Design Thinking online course. This will set you up with the basic knowledge and language we will use in the workshop.

Oen Michael Hammonds, a designer, mentor and Design Principal at IBM, has designed across the gamut—services, advertising, graphic, interactive and environmental. Oen's current work with diverse clients in the consumer, business and technology industries demonstrate his ability to jump in and solve tough and complex challenges. At IBM, Oen works with the Employee Experience Design team to drive the design and implementation of impactful IBM HR experiences by increasing alignment and integration between HR programs, teams, and tools while focusing on the needs of employees, first-line, and upline managers. In this role, Oen works with his team facilitate strategic projects and workshops that transform IBM HR to build iconic products and services with human centered experiences.
