Building A Brand Builder

A talk on one designer’s experience of starting a design studio, going from an employee to an employer. Many doors are open and shut on the path to entrepreneurship. Jose Canales will share about his journey starting Canales & Co. and many of the things he has learned along the way. Lessons from mentoring young designers as new employees out of school to the importance of continuous discovery in the disciplines of design and small business ownership. This talk is meant to shed some light to creatives within the local design community interested in opening the door to entrepreneurship.
