11/19: AIGA AUSTIN PRESENTS—UNDER THE RADAR WITH TRINA BENTLEY
In November we are proud to feature Trina Bentley, renowned designer and owner of Make & Matter—an Austin-based branding and packaging design shop. For more than a decade, Trina churned out work for publications, small firms, and in-house marketing departments. Then, upon discovering and falling in love with packaging design, she launched Make & Matter (www.makeandmatter.com) to focus on building brands and positioning them for success through beautiful, functional packaging solutions. With her gung ho approach, keen eye, and willingness to work (and rework), Trina has carved out a rewarding niche. Her work can be found in annuals, books, blogs — and most importantly, on the shelf at your local grocer.
Admission for each event includes one taco ticket, and enjoy free beer with your purchase of an Under the Radar pint glass. Limited edition posters will be sold for $5.

As summer approaches we are still basking in the fond springtime memories of Design Ranch 2013. The quiet moments by the river, the creative energy and inspiration in each and every workshop, the festive and warm moments making new friends by the fire, and the fellowship found in the dining hall, are all cherished moments that we carry with us back home. We returned to our daily lives refreshed and ready to face the world.
